It's long overdue, but here is OOWF Summer Hate 2004!
Pink strobelights hit, and Brittany "Tease" Lovette comes out, looking jubilant. She grabs a mic and brags about how Dave Hines is gone and she controls everything now. And as her first act last week, she fired Dave Hines. For her second act... she is retiring the OOWF World Tag Team titles! What the hell? Is this just being a sore loser because she couldn't win the title teamed up with Sean McIver last week?! A "We Want Dave Hines *clapclapclapclapclap*" chant starts as she further goes on to say that the board is forcing her to give one of the tag champions a shot at 'Nature Girl' Penny Lane's OOWF Institution of Power title, and that Emily Mundae won the coin toss. But she has authority otherwise, and she's giving her other charge, Jillian Lane a shot at Kicken Moore's OOWF World Title! This is HER show now, she says. Get used to it!
(Dave Hines +3 over, B +2 over)
Xlorep DarkHelm vs Willow Crowley.
Match Background: DarkHelm is making his debut at this show, and is accompanied by his manager, XTC.
The Match: Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Xlorep DarkHelm ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. DarkHelm scoops and slams Willow Crowley. What's the difference between a scoop slam and a body slam anyway? Willow takes a headbutt from Xlorep DarkHelm. Hooks the leg for a two count. DarkHelm slams Willow Crowley down and motions to the crowd. Hooks the leg for a two count. DarkHelm walks into a drop toe hold. Willow slams Xlorep DarkHelm. Hooks the leg for a two count. Mick Foley-esque Double Arm DDT by DarkHelm connects as Willow is down! XTC is at ringside! Willow wastes valuable time by yelling at XTC! Xlorep DarkHelm takes advantage of the distraction and nails Willow from behind! Xlorep DarkHelm moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Termination. 1....2...3, it's finished. Willow Crowley fights back, and has soon sent both Xlorep DarkHelm and XTC into retreat.
My Opinion: This was such a good match, it caused star ratings to magically appear... ****1\4
(DarkHelm +1 over)
A video is played, hyping the new star coming to OOWF, Madonna.
(Madonna +1 over)

Miller takes a flying neckbreaker from Madonna. Nathan Miller gets knocked to the ground by Maddy. The Material Finisher!!! Nathan Miller taps out! My Opinion: These guys worked SO HARD...for a ** rating. Something went wrong somewhere, didn't it?
(Nathan Miller was sluggish and didn't put much effort in. Nathan Miller -2 over, Madonna +1 over)
Dave Adams and Pete Gas vs Matt Sutton and Sean McIver.
Match Background: This will be a tables bout.

My Opinion: A DUD here would have actually been generous! -*
(Matt Sutton was sluggish and didn't put much effort in. Pete Gas didn't really sell very much, which hurt the match rating. )
Emily Mundae is backstage. I'm actually looking forward to this and you should too! She was out there to hype a match against 'Nature Girl' Penny Lane. Good way to get the fans interested in what is coming up.
Emily Mundae gained 3 points of overness from this segment.

'Nature Girl' Penny Lane hits a rolling kick on Emily. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. Spinning bulldog in the corner and Emily is down! Emily Mundae once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Beautiful spinning arm drag out of the corner by Emily. Some masked guy comes running down the aisle and onto the apron! Penny turns...and is dropped throat-first onto the top rope by him! The announcer calls him Boffo Machine and he has left Penny in big trouble. Emily Mundae has 'Nature Girl' Penny Lane down on the canvas. Here it comes...Snapshooter! 'Nature Girl' Penny Lane taps! Penny grabs the referee, then nails him with a right hand! Dozens of people hit the ring to stop any further incident.
Boffo Machine?! I guess this place doesn't value stipulations like ECW does.
My Opinion: A ***3/4 rating! Yay!
(The OOWF Institution of Power title has gained in image.)
Jillian Lane is backstage. I'm actually looking forward to this and you should too! She was out there to tell Kicken 'Ho-Riffick' Moore that she was going to discombobulate her. If it ends up on one of those OTHER cable channels, then I'm all for it! Time to sit back and watch.
(Jill +2 over)
Jillian Lane vs Kicken 'Ho-Riffick' Moore.

Spin kick by Jillian Lane to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. Covers for a quick two count. Jillian Lane misses a clothesline. Hard impact Russian Leg Sweep by Kicken.
